No Longer Empty has arranged two types of programs to contribute meaningfully into the existing neighborhood.

Tours

One program is our ongoing invitations for (local) schools to come to our space for a tour lead by Manon Slome. These tours will give a general understanding of the exhibition.

Private (family) tours are available, and parents interested in stimulating birthday fun for their kids can be arranged. If interested in bringing your childrens art class or tour to any NO Longer Empty Space, please email info@nolongerempty.com

Workshops

The other program is an indepth and hands on workshop that gives children a rich memorable experience of contemporary art. Together with Claire Munday of Creative Art Adventures, No Longer Empty is orchestrating creative and inspiring art discoveries for children 5 years and older.

In groups of ten, these small and intimate sessions are meant to give children a hands-on experience using the theme of the exhibition. Current NLE artists will be attending as well.

NEXT WORKSHOP

Each tour is 1.5 hrs that has an educational aspect as well as multiple hands on art projects that use multimedia materials.

RSVP is necessary - each tour is limited to ten students.

The costs covers the research, materials, snacks and other preparatory work. Price is per child with two accompanying adults.

For the first time, No Longer Empty will be collaborating with Claire’s Creative Art Adventures on November 14th. These excellent, entertaining and challenging programs are designed to reach all intelligences, to go beyond school curriculums and to give individualized attention in the arts.  Curriculum is designed to explore processes of diverse artists with a focus on modern and contemporary art as well as ancient cultures as well as to stimulate creativity, to promote critical thinking and to experience a wide variety of unique art materials. Claire Munday is a professional artist and a dynamic art and music teacher. Claire's excellent reputation is based on building a team of professional artist educators who have enthusiasm and a genuine respect for each child’s learning style.

Art Adventures Philosophy

Art Adventures is an inclusive hands-on children's art studio that teaches art not just as a pastime, but as a means of individual expression.
